Community Service Team

A project of the Alliance, the Community Service Team was created in 2014.  Alliance members wished to serve the community through direct service projects that assisted health-related non-profits.  The "done in a day" projects allow Alliance members the chance to give their time while enjoying fellow Team members.

The Alliance has supported a variety of one day projects.  From providing a holiday meal for a Senior Citizen Center, working at the Regional Food Bank, staffing the Junior Diabetes run, to shopping for supplies to help a homeless mother and her children to settle into a safe and comfortable home, this Team of caring Alliance members has participated in dozens of monthly projects.

If you are involved in a non-profit agency that provides services related to health, and you are interested in applying to partner with the Alliance’s Community Service Team, call Michele Davey at (405) 408-2907.

The Team meets early in the year to plan their project calendar.  While the Team does support the projects with some monetary contributions, the done in a day projects are always hands on!
